You make me feel like daaaaancing

The Wiggles rock!

We had a blast. We met and sat with Ann (w/ Bob & kids), Erica (w/ kids) and Amy (with her mom, kids, and the one on the way).

They even played Aquarela do Brazil for Ben's exit after Itsy Bitsy Spider. Quite an exit, actually! Per Anthony, Ben had more fans that the Wiggles themselves. So many people had signs for Ben, it was unbelievable.

LMBO @ Wiggly Olympics. They had the rings up, like in gymnastics, and Anthony, Paddy & perhaps Ado we hanging there during the monkey dance. We had score cards! (Ann's idea).

Erica had these really cool rings that blink and she shared them with us. T loved it and was in Wiggle-Heaven!

I was quite impressed with Anthony during the show. The man's unstoppable! Except when he had to tie his shoes - twice. Hey, I agree with the sign, Anthony for president. I'd vote for him! :) "If president, I declare every day is polka day" LMBO

My favorite new song: the fairy dance. Love it! I was trying to dance it in the kitchen. Hubby was rolling his eyes - I wonder why :)

LOVED Sam singing in falsetto, you make me feel like dancing. Yep, I did. I would have gotten up, but technically it's a concert for kids :)

Jeff played Humpty Dumpty and had to climb and sit on a wall. T said Humpty Dumpty did not fall from the wall, that Jeff was only scooting down. LOL!

Murray rocks. All the time. I just feel I have to say it again. And he ALWAYS finds us.

The Wiggly dancers were amazing. The new choreography by Caterina was great! Ado & Megan are awesome! Megan is a new dancer, who flips like Ado, she's incredible. And Clare Field. I loved seeing Clare onstage. She's all grown up now. I was all proud of her, as if it was my own daughter there.

Poor Kristy, she had such patience getting the roses and bones from the kiddos. She was overwhelmed and in a hurry to get back onstage. BTW, the costume changes were many and SO quickly.

I took 450+ pictures so it will be kinda hard to narrow it down. I may get to it, eventually :P

But this one of Murray really stood out:

Murray Wiggle

This photo has a cute story to it (click to enlarge it):

The concert in Washington DC was on November 8th, just a few days after Halloween. I got a few plastic carvable pumpkins on clearance at the craft store. My son insisted I helped him carve a pumpkin for The Wiggles. So I searched the web for a musical pumpkin template, and didn't find one, so I made up my own using the clipart of a guitar. I carved the pumpkin. T was on cloud 9, he had a pumpkin for Murray. We made a sign saying "Murray, Thomas brought you a guitar pumpkin". I told hubby if Murray reads the sign, bring Thomas over to the stage to give it to him and I will get a photo of it.

So, Murray read the sign, stopped the concert and came down to get the pumpkin from my son's hands. How cool is that? He then had the entire Verizon Center clap for my son. This is how big it was, my hubby, who is a closeted Wiggles fan, talked about this for an entire week! He even told some guys at the bar where he goes for happy hour, and one of them said "that was you? I was there too!". LOL

BTW, check out the faces around the people around us in the photo. The parents were more excited than the kids.

So, for the rest of the concert, our pumpkin rested by Jeff's Keyboard in the Dorothy balloon.

One more reason we love those mates!

BTW: countdown to the concert! Only 5 days to go until our 12th and 13th concerts.

P.S. If you don't have kids, you will not understand :)

I'd like to buy a vowel, please!

My little T is addicted to Wheel of Fortune. First he surfs through the kiddie channels, but usually at 7pm there is nothing he likes. So he turns to ABC to watch Wheel of Fortune.

wheel of fortuneHe makes me sit down next to him and I have to guess all the words. If the contestant answers before I do, he yells at me LOL.

It's really cute he starts putting together the words. "Mommy, that word is CAR! C-A-R!". Adorable! He hasn't even started Pre-K. Oh, yeah, he was supposed to start Kindergarten in September, but they changed the admission birth dates and won't even test him (but it's subject for another post).

Funny thing, is yesterday the lady got almost all the letters in. It was a prize puzzle, and the board said "DANCING IN THE _AND". She answered "Dancing in the Land", which was wrong. The answer, of course, was "dancing in the Sand", and the other contestant answered. Then Sajak turned to her and asked: "it's a prize puzzle, where do you think you're going?" and I yelled "Australia!". LOL. Nah, the thing is they were sending her to the beach in the Caribbean.

But all I could think was "we're gonna clap 3 times in the sunshine". LOL!
